Terms of use
1. The service
UCA Mesh ("Mesh") is software for Windows for consent-based remote support and remote access, together with this website, your account and the connection/relay service. It is operated by a private individual (see the imprint), not a company.
2. Account
To connect to devices, build a network or invoice time you need an account with a valid email address. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Consent is required for every connection
You may only connect to a device with the knowledge and consent of the person responsible for it. Mesh enforces this: every connection is approved at the far end and a visible "being viewed — Stop" indicator is shown throughout. You must not use Mesh to access any device without authorisation. Unattended access to company devices may only be enabled by the organisation for devices it owns and administers, and remains logged.
4. Plans, trials and payment
Personal use is free within its limits. Freelancer, Team and Business are paid subscriptions with the trial lengths shown on the pricing page; prices include tax. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; their terms apply to the purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancel any time in your account, and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Seat limits apply as shown per plan.
5. Acceptable use
No unlawful access, no use against anyone without their consent, no resale or circumvention of the service, no attempt to break the encryption or the relay. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or these terms.
6. Your data and systems
You are responsible for what you do during a session on a device you connect to. Elevation (UAC) uses the target machine's own local administrator and is performed locally; passwords are never transmitted from the remote side. Keep backups of important data.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.
8. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Your purchase is made with Dodo Payments as merchant of record; withdrawal rights are handled per their terms. By starting a subscription you agree that the digital service begins immediately.
9. Changes and ending
We may change these terms with notice by email; if you do not agree, you can cancel. You can delete your account at any time.
10. Law
German law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
